Rhonda Byrne, the creator of the film "The Secret" said:

"The shortcut to anything you want in your life is to BE and FEEL happy now! It is the fastest way to bring money and anything else you want into your life."

Spend time today recording the times you feel happy in your prosperity notebook. Remember, the Energy goes where the attention flows!

Round 5, Day 51

Only 9 more days of this campaign. How are you doing? Have you experienced a shift in consciousness, or do you sense one happening?

On my part, my income has increased in fun ways, people are paying for classes before they begin, I’ve been treated to so many wonderful lunches and fun, inspiring things. I LOVE my life!!

Yet, writing the phrase “only 9 more days” made me think … what if I really did have only 9 more days to change my thinking – what if I didn’t have any more chances? How would my behaviour be for these last few days?

If I hadn’t had the changes I’ve had which show my new and improved consciousness, I would do a few things really seriously in these next few days …

First, I would forgive anyone I need to forgive. My teacher told me that unresolved debt is unresolved anger or hurt. Those blocks need to be released. Not only for my financial health, but my physical health as well.

Two, I would start giving away whatever I could give away, be it things or money. This not only makes room for our new prosperity – it ‘primes the pump.”

Three, I would start Trusting the Law. Expecting It to work.

Four, I would be grateful for everything, absolutely everything – even those things that seem like challenges, because those are actually blessings in disguise.

How would your behaviour change!?!

Round 5, Day 50

A Prosperity Prayer:

God, being all there is, is the lavish abundance seen throughout the Universe. It speaks to me from every budding plant, every greening lawn, every cloud in the sky. It says, “Take me, I am yours. Use me, I am for your use.”
The atoms making up the cells of all things, including my body, are also direct expressions of the abundance of God. Through them, God is saying “Live me, I am you.”
Today I totally let go of thinking I do not deserve more good – God is my good, and It is absolutely everywhere. It serves me and serves me well.
I celebrate my conscious awareness of this Truth. I have nothing to be afraid of. I need not be concerned. I have embodied the Truth of abundance, and now open to live an opulent life.
How grateful I am to see, experience and feel these things. God is my Good – my all-sufficiency.
I release these words knowing they are so – and so it is.

Round 5 Day 49

The other day I was having a conversation with someone who was angry that the CEO of WalMart made so much more than his employees. He kept saying it wasn’t fair.

Now I don’t know anything about the WalMart situation, but I do know this: Life never promised fairness – and in Truth, it’s about consciousness. The CEO of WalMart makes what he makes because he has the consciousness to do so.

If we are treating to be better paid, yet we are putting down people who are, what do you think the Universe is hearing? We’ve probably got more feeling attached to the put-downs than we do to our Treatments. The Universe responds to our dominant thoughts and feelings. Let go of ‘cursing’ anyone who makes more than you. Think of these people with love – you might even say “If they can do it, so can I.”

I just remembered a wonderful cartoon I saw many years ago in The New Yorker magazine. Two bums are standing on the sidewalk watching a Rolls Royce drive by. One turns to the other and says “There, but for me, go I.”

Round 5, Day 48

Cathy wrote: “trust is the key- perhaps hard to do at first- but like everything we practice, it gets easier. To the point where you wonder what you did before!
Kind of like microwaves and cell phones- what did we ever do before them?? LOL”

Good point Cathy!! Can you get yourself to the point where you can rely on The Divine as much as you can rely on your microwave and cellphone!!

I’ve been living in Trust most of my adult life – or at least since I got into this teaching. Granted, there are occasionally some times when I let myself get freaked out, but at the last minute something wonderful always happens. I call this a John Wayne consciousness – you know, the wagons are circled, there are more bad guys than good guys – death looks immanent -- and suddenly John Wayne and the Calvary are coming over the mountain – just in time! Whew!

It is never too late to change your mind about the outcome! Let the Law be John Wayne for you if you must, it’s better than succumbing to fear. However, sooner or later, you’ll realize you have the Power within you and don’t need to be rescued!!

Round 5, Day 47

Dr. Ernest Holmes
Science of Mind

When we learn to trust the Universe, we shall be happy, prosperous and well. We must learn to come under that Divine Government, and accept the fact that Nature's table is ever filled.

Never was there a Cosmic famine. "The finite alone has wrought and suffered, the Infinite lies stretched in smiling repose." God is always God.

Trusting is a key ingredient to manifestation. We do our spiritual work, our treasure maps, our affirmations, and then fall into the world way of thinking. I know there are facts being broadcast to us from every direction and these days we might find it hard to rise above the wave of negativity – however, until we can fully embody the above Truth, we can say “Regardless of appearances, I can Trust The Divine! In trusting, I am happy, prosperous and well.”

Round 5, Day 46

Yesterday, Harold e-mailed me with some affirmations he uses:

“On my screensaver: In wisdom, faith, and Belief, with all knowing, in God's own perfect time, for the highest good in use, $1,000,000 manifests to me for self expression of my true goodness in spiritual nature.
This is what I write on all checks I write to remind myself of what I am really in the process of when a check is written: T-Y-F-I-A-Y-G = Thank you father I accept your grace”

Good ones! On my screensaver I have:
“Relax, you can let Me handle the details today. Love, God”

Anything we do to remind ourselves of the consciousness we are embodying is a good thing!! And we have to do the thing or say the words that our subjective mind can relate to. In other words, adopting someone else’s affirmations might work for a little while, but the ones you come up with on your own, and really resonate with, will work the best for you.

Spend some time today writing affirmations in your prosperity notebook, and notice how you’re feeling when you write them.

Recently I heard Dr. Michael Beckwith say: "Worry is like paying interest on money you haven't borrowed."

Dr. Holmes calls worry 'negative prayer'.

What are you worrying about today? Take a breath. Is this thing you are worried about really the Truth?

If not, then declare the Truth knowing all the power of the Universe is behind your words!! This is really a rich, friendly Universe, and It is giving to you every moment of your life. Open your eyes to see your abundant life!

Round 5, Day 43

A good day to pray:

Today I move into the centre of my Being, awakening my conscious awareness of my True Self. This Self is the Source of all good.

With eager expectancy I declare my Good is at hand. I know it is, because my Good is God. There is no place where God is not. As I contemplate my Good, my faith gets stronger. I can Trust Principle to work. It always has, and always will.

All of Life is conspiring to make my life an experience of Opulence and Joy. I gratefully accept this as my Truth!

And so it is.

"If God said, 'Rumi, pay homage to everything that has helped you enter my arms,' there would not be one experience of my life, not one thought, not one feeling, not any act I would not bow to."

Today allow yourself to pay homage to everything in your life – yes, even that which you call negative. All challenges are really questions waiting for your attention. If you have lack – perhaps the question is “What is the true nature of supply?”

Let yourself pay homage to the Questions waiting to be revealed to you.

Round 5, Day 41

We can make bigger buckets. We cannot make a bigger law. The law knows nothing about big and little. It knows to do. Since there is such a Law and we are always using it, we are all receiving from life an objective equivalent of our inward mental attitudes. If we wish more we must increase our expectancy, we must identify ourselves with more. The law being absolute, can produce what we call a big thing as easily as what we term a small thing. Mind is a mirror, automatically reflecting our images of thought, be that good, bad or indifferent, large, medium or small, as we measure things.

This is a great quote. And what ‘more’ should we identify ourselves with?? Why God of course!! God being all – there could never be a lack of God!

Use your Prosperity Notebook today to journalize about the everpresent giving Nature of The Divine. What you contemplate, you will become.

Round 5, Day 40

Knowing that we get our basic money beliefs from our parents, I was journaling about mine. My parents lived rich, but seemed to always have money problems.

I remember a time when my Mother worked for weeks to make a fancy dress for a party and it was gorgeous! The night of the party my Mother looked so beautiful. They were going to the party with friends who were coming over for cocktails beforehand. When the doorbell rang, I ran to answer it, my Mother close behind me. “Oh Fran, your dress is lovely” the woman said. I piped up proudly “She made it!” My Mother put her hand on the back of my neck, dug in her long red nails, and told me to go to my room. I couldn’t figure out why she was mad at me for saying she had made her dress.

Now I know what one of my parent’s prosperity problems was. If I had been smart at the age of 10 I could have shouted “Stop Competing!”

I wonder how many our ideas of prosperity are brought about by competition. Your friend gets a new car, or a new house, new clothes, hairdo, or electronic toy, and now you want that or something better. All the videos that came out after The Secret have fancy cars, and mansions, jewels and piles of money – telling us we can have what ever we want – and making us feel less than if we don’t have or want those things. Competition.

I once saw a coffee table book where the photographer had people all over the world, take everything out of their front rooms and put it in their front yard, and stand in back of their possessions. There were pictures of people with big screen TV’s, huge armchairs, plants, microwaves, boxes and bottles galore. And there were also pictures of people with some mats, bowls, firewood, clothes, a couple of pigs and chickens. The funny thing was, the less people had, the more they were smiling!

It is not the material possessions that make us happy. It’s our experience of life. Use your prosperity journal this week to think about where you might be in competition. Is this where you really want to be? What quality of life would really make you feel prosperous?

Round 5, Day 38 & 39

I’ve been thinking about you today. Thinking about how wonderful it is to be on a Prosperity Path with so many people, and how our combined focus is working not only for ourselves, but for each other, and for countless others we don’t even know about!

In the children’s book “Dinotopea,” #1 of the Codes the dinosaurs live by is:
One raindrop raises the sea.

This is what we’re doing – raising the sea. As each of us embody a prosperity consciousness, we are raising the level of the collective consciousness. We are making a difference in our world!

Affirmation for today:
I am willing to share my consciousness with others. As I help others prosper, I prosper, and this is a Good Thing.

Round 5, Day 37

I was thinking about ‘vibrations’ today, and remembered a story about Dr. Ernest Holmes. George Bendall lived with Dr. Holmes after he was widowed. He wrote that sometimes he would come home and be met at the door by Dr. Holmes, who would say “Find where I prayed, George.” Dr. Holmes believed Spiritual Mind Treatment created a consciousness that set up a vibration around the one praying that was palpable to those who were sensitive enough. And that vibration would attract the desired manifestation.

All thinking creates vibration – if we are dwelling on lack, we will attract more lack. We have to raise that vibration by allowing ourselves to breathe deeply and move into a consciousness of Love. One way to do this is by thinking of a time when you really felt all was well with your world. Go ahead – do that – and then from this place, smile and say this affirmation:

I have a prosperity consciousness and am increasingly magnetic to money!

Round 5, Day 36

A good day to pray:

I am surrounded by the opulent nature of the Universe. It surrounds me with the beauty of nature. It fills me up with the abundance of air. It supports me with the abundance of material objects in my life. The Universe is my all-sufficiency.

As I look around me, I realize that whether I have judged my surroundings to be good or bad, there is still more than enough. I declare right now: I am ready to experience more than enough Good – more than enough God – in my life today. I see God as Love, Life, Peace, Joy, Harmony, Health, Wealth and so much more. I move forward along the Path of my Life with an eager expectancy of all good showing up all along the way.

I am so grateful to be walking this Prosperity Path in consciousness. I am grateful I have countless others walking this Path with me. Together we are changing the consciousness of humanity from one of lack to one of plenty. We are changing the emotional landscape from one of fear to one of gratitude.

God is so good in our lives today and always, and in all ways! I release these words to the Law of Mind, knowing they are already so. And so It is.

Round 5, Day 35

The actor Jim Carrey told an interviewer that he had written himself a cheque for $1,000,000 many years before he became famous. He carried it in his wallet and would look at it whenever he thought about it …. We know where his intention got him!!

Let’s try this ourselves! Write out a cheque in the amount you’ve been focusing on, sign it “With love from the Universe” or “Your Universal Source” or something that feels good to you, and put it in your wallet. Look at it when ever you can, breathe deeply, smile and expect to receive!

As we enter this Love Weekend – ask yourself “What is my relationship to money?”

Many of us have a love/hate relationship with it. We love it when we have it, and hate it when we don’t.

This weekend, allow yourself to Love yourself every time you use or think about money. Love yourself even when you buy something you think you shouldn’t. Love yourself while you are paying your bills. Love yourself while you are giving your tithe at church. Love your money and it will love you back!!

Remember, as Dr. Raymond Charles Barker said “Money is a symbol of God in action in our lives.”

Round 5, Day 33

Judy sent this yesterday:
“I read in Tom Johnson's writing: “You don't Have to Wait - 'Treatment is not for the purpose of making anything happen but to permit that which already is to move into expression and fulfillment NOW. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT!"

Thank you Judy for this great reminder!! All our work in consciousness is to permit that which already IS to move into expression in our lives!! YES!!

Contemplate this idea today: You are already rich beyond measure. All of your needs are met and more. Life is continually giving you great gifts of everything your heart desires.

Write these ideas in your prosperity notebook, and as you do, listen to the thoughts that come up. Record any “yea, buts” and after you have, cross them out, and rewrite the above ideas in your own words.

Now – open your Mind, your Heart and your Arms to receive!! In your mind’s eye, see all of us doing this, with wonderful smiles on our faces.

Round 5, Day 32

Today’s reading in the 365 Science of Mind is perfect for today:

I am a Creative Center

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
–Psalm 35:5

Let your consciousness rise above the sense of separation from the power of God, and in a few moments you will feel as though you were sitting in the midst of an infinite sea of unobstructed Life. This place in Mind where you are now, is the Source of all action, the center of all creativity. It is also the innermost part of your own being.

Just as a plant turns to the sun, your thoughts turn to the Power and draw It down through your being, causing It to manifest through your word. In this act you are not losing your identity, you are more intensely self-conscious than ever before, but you are conscious in a larger, less obstructed manner. Whatever you decree, state or affirm from this altitude of thought will produce definite results. The Law of Life exists in all of us at all times, and we are using It whether or not we are conscious of the fact. If we wish to make a specific use of this Law of Life, then we must use It specifically.

I now climb a ladder of thought that takes me above all confusion. Climbing joyously, I pass through the clouds of fear and doubt. I behold light everywhere. I sense the enveloping presence of Love everywhere. The good I desire, I now affirm and accept, knowing my definite intentions produce definite results.

Round 5, Day 31

When wanting to buy something or go somewhere, have you ever heard yourself saying “But I only have ________?” (a certain amount of money) I call this “the last dollar” consciousness.

Truth is, we can never spend ‘our last dollar.’ It might seem like it, yet we live in an ever increasing abundant flow of good.

Now, I’m not saying to spend indiscriminately, I’m saying don’t spend with the consciousness of fear that you won’t have enough, that if you spend it, you won’t get any more. Remember fear is an attracting energy, and if our attention is on lack, that’s the energy we will attract more of.

As you spend money today think “There’s always more where this came from!”

And be grateful to The Source. Thank God We’re Rich!

Round 5, Day 30

Whoo Hoo – We’re at our half-way point in this campaign. How are you doing?

I was listening to an interview with an artist this morning, and the interviewer asked the artist a question that keeps coming back to me as a question for our lives … especially our prosperity consciousness at the moment:

“Where would “letting go” take you?

What if we really did let go of the thoughts and feelings of lack and limitation, of fear because of what we’re hearing about the economy, of shakiness around our jobs, etc. The thoughts and feelings about not having enough, doing enough or being enough.

Where would Letting Go take you?

It would take us closer to our Truth.

Good thing to ponder and perhaps write about in our prosperity notebooks.

Oops, forgot yesterday … well, today is a double whammy then!!

I’ve been playing with affirmations lately for my Treasure Map … the best one so far is:

“My income effortlessly increases whether I am working, playing or sleeping.”

And now, a very special Spiritual Mind Treatment for today:

TREATMENT FOR SUPPLY
by Dr. Ernest Holmes

A treatment after this manner should prove the law of abundance in the life of those who use such statements, and believe in them:

"I am surrounded by pure Spirit, by God, the Living Spirit. My thought is God thought, and it is the law unto that thing where unto it is spoken. Everything I do shall be a success. I am led, guided and inspired by the Living Spirit of Love and of right action. I am compelled to move in the right direction and to always know what to do, where, and how to do it.

"I am surrounded by right action. I am filled with the consciousness of right action. Right action is success in all I undertake to do. I am successful in all my undertakings, and I am compensated for all my efforts. I am surrounded by Substance, which is always taking the form of supply and always manifesting Itself to me in the form of whatever my need may be at the time.

"I always have an abundance of money and an abundance of whatever it takes to make life happy and opulent. There is a continuous movement toward me of supply, of money, of all that I need to express the fullest life, happiness and action.

"I have an inner understanding of my place in the Universe. I know it is unique. The Divine has not incarnated in anyone else in just the same individual way that It has in me. I am unique and forever individualized. Therefore, I do not need to imitate anyone or to long for the good that belongs to another. All good is now mine and is now manifest in my experience. I do not compete with anyone, for I am and remain forever myself. This self is united with all selves, but is always an individual and a unique self.

"There is that in me which all people recognize as worth while and desirable, and everyone whom I meet loves this self of mine and recognizes its worth. I draw all toward me and those whom I can benefit and those who can benefit me are irresistibly drawn toward me. I do not strain, will or coerce. I know. The Truth makes me free from the fear of poverty or bondage, and emancipates me from the thought of limitation. I see that money, like everything else that is desirable, must be a spiritual idea, and I know that I have this idea right in my mind at this moment, I shall always have this idea of abundance. It is mine and I take it.

"The opportunity for self-expression and compensation is always open to me and I am at all times compelled to know, accept and operate upon this opportunity. I have abundance because I am abundance. "All that the Father hath is mine."

And So It Is.

Round 5, Day 27

HeartMath, one of the most widely recognized research institutes on the heart, has shown that the heart has an energy field that has 5000 more times energy than the brain. 5000 times !!!

Ernest Holmes wrote that it is thought plus feeling that creates the spark of manifestation. How many of us think we want to be wealthy, but do not have our heart's power behind our desires? Our mind creates a vision around our desires. We can imagine what we want. Feelings add power to our thoughts, they empower our motivation to succeed. Feelings let us put ourselves fully in that picture.

For example, which has more power: I am treating for a new car, and I see that car in my mind's eye in the dealership -- Or – I see and feel myself sitting in the driver's seat, listening to the great sound system, delighting in the power of the engine under my foot?

This weekend, your assignment is to be in your financial vision with a smile on your face. Really feel what it would feel like to sit down and pay bills with no worries at all. Feel what it would feel like to go into any store and buy what you want without looking at the price tag hoping it wasn't going to be too expensive. Feel yourself doing something really fun with your money instead of worrying about survival.

And all through your weekend, Feel Grateful! Thank God We're Rich!!

Round 5, Day 26

Wayne Dyer writes: Prosperity in the form of wealth works exactly the same as everything else. You will see it coming into your life when you are unattached to needing it."

Unattached to needing it! That’s a hard one for someone who’s experiencing the current fear of lack. However, it made me think of an acronym I learned years ago … Need stands for “Never Ending Excessive Demands.” If we are keep coming to the Law with the consciousness of need, we are actually telling It we want more neediness!

How do you get to the place of desire without attachment? You state your intentions into the Law, and TRUST It to work for you. You let go and let God.

This showed up on my FaceBook this morning – it is the perfect thing for today in our current Thank God We’re Rich Campaign:

“When you ask, it is always given. There are three steps to this creative process. The first step is: Life causes you to ask. Some say, "I don't think I should ask for so much", and we say, ‘you can't help it.’

The entire Universe has been established, and when you are this genius leading edge creator that you are; and you are surrounded by details, comparisons, experiences, as you're exposed to the variety and details of life; your thinking mechanism automatically comes to new conclusions constantly of what would be improvement. And that is such a good thing. Even if you are a one celled organism, that's true of you. Even if you are a one celled amoeba in the ocean, you are exposed to experience that is causing you to come to new conclusions and the Source within you turns undivided attention to that new
conclusion and that is what causes the evolution of all species, you see.

Have you felt ashamed of wanting the good you want? Have you thought of yourself as selfish? Many people think “How can I make an intention to be wealthy or have more good when so many have so little.” Regardless of appearances, the one thing we ALL have is choice. All of us choose to have or not have on a moment to moment basis.

Write your thoughts about this in your prosperity notebook – and then -
Allow yourself to walk proudly as a genius leading edge creator!! Our desires to have more, to be more, to do more are natural. Through our desires that we turn into intentions we are creating a world that works – not just for us – but for everyone!!

Round 5, Day 24

This morning I woke to a beautiful sunrise and watched as the day got lighter and brighter. I noticed buds on trees and bushes. The grasses and various plants looked so much greener. The birds sounded happy. Ahhh … it is so awesome how a little sunlight can make us feel good and we can see things so much better!

This is what happens when we allow ourselves to turn to the Eternal Light that is within us, and allow It to shine brightly through our lives. We appreciate the good we have now, and begin to have a sense of eager anticipation of the good that is coming. We feel a sense of excitement coming over us, and we can’t help but smile.

Breathe deeply and imagine yourself standing in The Light. Contemplate the good that’s in your life now, and the good that’s coming. If you’d like, write about this in your Prosperity Notebook.

Round 5, Day 23

As I was walking this morning, I thought about all the people who have requested Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer) for their prosperity lately. I have recommended joining our campaign, yet very few have.

Only a handful are reporting their demonstrations on this campaign. …. So here’s a question for you: Are you really willing to do the work to change your thinking – thereby changing your financial life?
Our prosperity is all about consciousness! Everything is!

I honour the ones who have requested Treatment, and am grateful to be of service, yet I wonder if that’s still a way to get somebody else to do the work for us? Yes, Treatment works, absolutely – however it will only work at the level of our acceptance.

How much good are you willing to accept?

I know we are being bombarded on all sides by doom and gloom predictions, by stories of companies having troubles, by the stories told by our family and friends. To each of these I say & please join me in doing so:

“Regardless of appearances, God is my Source. Money flows to me easily and effortlessly. All of my bills are paid in full. I live in grace and gratitude.

I know this is true for me and for all the participants of this campaign! Thank God We’re Rich!!”

Round 5, Day 22

Another good day to pray:

Gratefully I recognize the Truth of my being. All there is – is God. God is Divine Energy – the Source of all Good. It is more than I can possibly imagine. It is everywhere. It is all powerful. It is all knowing. It is at the very center of my Self.

Today as I contemplate the nature of God, I understand at a deeper level that I am a co-creator in this world. As I look around me I am so grateful for all I have directed Divine Energy to be. As I go within, I am grateful for the wellspring of Peace I find there.

I choose now to dwell in this Peace. Here I am fear-free. I have no problems or challenges. Here I can hear the guidance that is always being given. This Guidance whispers softly “Trust – Trust – Trust.” I breathe deeply and choose to do this.

As I breathe in Trust, I remember my intentions for this campaign with an awareness that all I can imagine for myself is what the Divine is working on with me. I relax and feel the creative Energy flow.

Thank God I know my Good is flowing easily. Thank God I trust the Law for me and for everyone else in this campaign.

Gratefully I release these words knowing they are already done. And so it is.

Round 5, Day 21


Judy wrote: I liked the idea you had of re-looking at my prosperity and explaining how it looks now and then to "re-write it how I want it". That exercise helped me really look at where I am now and what it is about my prosperity that is stealing my peace of mind. I think one part of me was too concerned of the how rather than the what. I want to continually let God do the work - and I just stay focused on what I want my finances to look like! It's the "how" that rakes my mind and steals my peace. When I get into the how, I start blaming myself that I could be more responsible, do without more so I don't spend as much etc. But in truth I know God wants me to have it all and move into more acceptance of all good.


YES, Judy, this is a good point for all of us to remember – our job is the ‘what’ and it is the Universe’s job to provide the ‘how!’ Thank you for bringing this up.

Years ago, Rev. Edwene Gaines – a masterful prosperity teacher – said that trying to figure out the 'how' is like playing a game of cards and having a ‘hole card’ up your sleeve. It’s like we are telling the Universe, “Well, I’ve put out my intention, but just in case it doesn’t work, I’ve got this plan…” If we have one, the Universe lets us play it, because what we are really doing is saying that we don’t trust our use of the Law.

This teaching is a radical one. We have to radically trust – radically KNOW that our word has power – indeed all the power of the Universe is behind it!!

Round 5, Day 20

We are 1/3 of the way into our change of prosperity consciousness …. How are you doing? Are you FEELING more prosperous? Calmer? More at peace with how things are and knowing they are getting better every day?

Today would be a good day to look at your original intention for this campaign. Put it in Mind again, and then let it go. Imagine all the other members of this campaign doing the same thing. Know for them that their prosperity consciousness is changing as well, and their intentions are manifesting.

How does it feel to be serving others in this way? Write about it in your prosperity notebook.

Round 5, Day 19

Yesterday we worked on “expecting” – today I’d like us to work on “accepting.”

Deepak Chopra talks about ‘involved detachment.” Can we expect only the best to happen and accept that it will without being attached to it?

Wayne Dyer writes “Prosperity in the form of wealth works exactly the same as everything else. You will see it coming into your life when you are unattached to needing it."

I know it is hard to practice involved detachment when it’s nearing the end of the month and there are more bills than money. I know it is hard to be unattached to money when it is the common commodity and you just got fired from your job. However I also know we can do it!

Involved detachment is doing the spiritual work and releasing it. Putting our intentions into the Law and then letting go! Letting go of the doubts about how it’s going to work or fears of not having a place to live, etc. Not being attached to the problem is Trusting.
Trusting is accepting Good into your life without seeing it first.

You’ve got to believe it to see it!

Round 5, Day 18

When you are doing your work in consciousness for prosperity, what do you expect to happen?

Some of us pray waiting for a miracle. Some of us do our affirmations with a sense of doubt so deep we are not consciously aware of it. Some of us create our Treasure Maps hoping it will work.

Remember that the Law is working all the time, whether we are praying or not. The Law is “It is done unto me as I believe.” And what we believe about our prosperity is in our lives right now!

In your prosperity notebook today, get honest. Look around and record what you see as the effects of your current prosperity consciousness. Then any parts you do not like, cross them out, and re-write them so they are more appropriate to your heart’s desires.

Do this work with a sense of eager expectancy, trusting the Law. Here’s an affirmation for today:

“I expect only the best to happen and it does.”

Round 5, Day 17

In the classic book “Working with the Law” by Raymond Holliwell, he states that we will never ‘make’ a living, we must ‘earn’ it.

We are already alive – it is how we are living this life that matters. One way we can ‘earn’ a living, is to do something for someone else. Whether it be a physical gesture, a material one, or consciously thinking good thoughts, do something today for someone in your life – and do it with no thoughts of return.

Round 5, Day 16

Without doubt, the most common weakness of all human beings is the habit of leaving their minds open to the negative influences of other people.

How many of us are feeling a little (or big) fission of fear when the news comes on? Because negativity is coming to us through the airwaves, through conversations at the office or around the dinner table… here are a couple of things you can do to keep yourself from being mesmerized by the consciousness of fear.

If you can’t avoid listening to it, let yourself practice the Power of No! We learned how great this power is at two years old – yet most of us were talked out of it. :)
Clearly state: “No - regardless of appearances, this is not my Reality!”

Listen for the good news in amongst all the bad – for instance, last night I heard that the recession is going to be difficult but short. Whoo Hoo – it’s going to be short!! (I ignored the ‘difficult’ part - that is not part of my Reality)

Remember who you are!! You are a powerful expression of the One Source of all Good – Abundance is your nature. And like Nature, nothing can stop you from manifesting your good. See and feel it as easy as the trees outside your window, which are now starting to warm up and get ready to abundantly show forth their inner beauty!!

Round 5, Day 15

A good day to pray:

Beloved Presence that surrounds me, fills me up and spills out into my world, I am so grateful. I recognize You as Life Itself. I recognize Your givingness as I look out my windows at the abundance of nature. I recognize Your lovingkindness as I experience the love of my friends, family and pets. I recognize Your infinite intelligence as I see chaos become order over and over again.

I now open myself to receive all of Life’s blessings. I am willing to experience greater good and have all the participants of this campaign experience these things as well.

We are nourished in unconditional love, made new with each breath, and celebrate our wholeness – our holiness. With every step we take, we are expanding our consciousness so that we know, and know that we know, the Truth. All there is, is Divine Energy, visible and invisible, and It serves us well.

Gratefully I release these words, knowing they are so, and so it is.

Round 5, Day 14



Here are three affirmations to use:



“I trust my ever-increasing ability to create abundance.”

Write them in your prosperity notebook and as you do, pay attention to the feelings that come up.

Then read them again out loud, and smile as you do so.

Let your subjective mind know these statements are true and make you feel Great!!

Round 5, Day 13

“Whatever you are giving your attention to is already vibrating. And when you give your attention to it, if you maintain your focus for as little as 17 seconds, you begin to include its vibration, whatever it is, in your vibration. When you see something you want, and you give it your attention, and you say yes to it, you are including whatever its vibration is in your vibration.”

So what are you giving your attention to today? And don’t you just love that 17 seconds!! Somewhere on the internet a few years ago I found a 17 second timer… so I looked up at my treasure map, started the timer, and my oh my, 17 seconds can seem like a long time!! :)

Yesterday we released our old story and are developing a new one. Spend some time today writing about your new story. How are you in relationship with money? With your work? With the people in your life? How does it FEEL to be in these relationships?
When you are finished, pick the one thing you really resonate to, and let yourself focus on it for 17 seconds. That wave of vibration you have set up will attract awesome experiences!!

Round 5, Day 12

I got a note from a campaign member who’d been doing the work I recommended, and saying affirmations and prayers, yet things just kept getting worse.

I called the person, and in the first 5 minutes of our conversation I knew why things hadn’t gotten any better – yes, they were doing the work, but they wouldn’t let go of the story of how they got where they were financially. I could hear an undertone of resentment and feel a sense of betrayal. We talked more, and did a Spiritual Mind Treatment, and I’m knowing there has been a turn-around!

What I absolutely know is – we have to let go of the old story! I don’t care what the circumstances were. This is not to say that I don’t hear the pain behind the stories. I know it is there and honour it… but how long are we going to hang on to it!! That was then, and this is now – and Now is all that matters.

Today, write your story in your prosperity notebook. Make it juicy and descriptive. Tell your story for all it’s worth --- because this is the LAST time you can tell it. When you are finished, slash a big, bold line through the story, and write

“This is no longer my reality.”

You’ve already started to write a new story called “Thank God We’re Rich!”

Round 5, Day 11

When we really begin to understand that we are created to live an authentic life, with prosperity, health, creativity and love, our consciousness becomes a magnet for our good.

A few years ago, I was going on a trip, and decided, just for the fun of it, that I wanted to fly first class. At first it was just a thought … then it became a desire … then a decision. However, when I checked the price of a first class ticket, I got nervous. It seemed like way too much money! I choose to buy a regular ticket.

Because of this experience, I decided I wanted to upgrade my consciousness, so I created a simple affirmation for myself: “I live a first class life.” All kinds of interesting experiences began to happen – and when I got to the airport, I got upgraded to first class through a series of ‘coincidences!’ My whole life became more prosperous because of this simple statement!

Today be quiet and let Spirit guide you to a simple affirmation for your life. Write it in your notebook. Pay attention to what thoughts and feelings come up as well and write those down. Finish with writing your new affirmation in big letters at the bottom, and watch out! Life is honouring those words!!

Round 5, Day 10

Much of the world is excited today. The energy radiating out of Washington DC is something to celebrate. We are looking to the future with eager anticipation.

In President Obama’s acceptance speech he made a comment about “our confidence being sapped.” We’ve all known this on an individual level. Whenever we go though any kind of stress, especially financial, our confidence gets sapped. We wonder if what we are using Principle correctly … we might even go into “why me?”

I often feel that crisis happens just before consciousness changes permanently. It’s as if the old consciousness is fighting to stay alive. If we allow ourselves to be mesmerized by the crisis, we will only perpetuate it. It is at these times that we must stand on Principle, reminding ourselves that we have placed a request into the Law, and the Law will work for us, through us, according to the level of our acceptance, regardless of any facts we might be facing.

Today remind yourself of your intention for this campaign, and look forward to the results with eager expectancy.

Round 5, Day 9

The energy that is flowing around the world today is awesome! In the United States, Martin Luther King day was called a National Day of Service. Now there is the true energy of prosperity.

I once saw a greeting card that said “the best exercise for the heart is lifting someone up.” That is your exercise for today --- yes I know I’m sending this out late, so you will have to do this in your mind and heart. Tonight, go into meditation and for every person who comes to mind, whether you are comfortable with them or not, serve them with Love.

Round 5, Day 8

It’s a good day to pray. Read the following Spiritual Mind Treatment with as much feeling and belief as you can, as many times as you desire. I have written it in the first person to make it easier for you to embody.

I live in an infinite Field of creative potentiality. This Field is made of the energy of unconditional Love. I celebrate this field as I am in It and It is in me.

I now declare my life to be filled with great good. In all the areas I play in, Life lives Itself as me. In my work, my soul is fulfilled. My body is healthy. My finances are abundant. My relationships are spirit to spirit. I live Life abundantly!

I also declare I am open to receive even more of Life’s blessings. I am full of Life and It is good, very good.

With a grateful heart I release these words, knowing they are so. And So It Is.

Round 5, Day 7

A friend and I went out to dinner last night, and on the way to the car, he found a dime. I said “Whoo Hoo – Prosperity!” and he said “It’s just a dime.”

Remember the story of Noah in the bible? They had been sailing for a long time – everywhere they looked, all they could see was water. Noah kept sending out a bird to see if they were close to land. Finally it came back with a branch in its beak. And they got excited! It wasn’t the land they were looking for, but that branch was a sign that land was close!!

That’s what I think when I’m working on manifesting money and find some on the ground or in last winter’s coat pocket or wherever – “whoo hoo!! Signs of land!!”

When we are treating (praying) for something to come into our life, if we’ve got a “it’s just a ____” attitude, we’re emitting a vibration that repeals the good that is coming to us. Be grateful- no matter how small your demonstration is – it’s signs of land!!

Round 5, Day 6

I so appreciate all the wonderful things our campaign members are sending me to share with you!! Howard sent me this quote by Dr. Ernest Holmes:

“Our subjective state of thought is constantly radiating into universal mental law the images of our entire belief in life, and from these images of unconscious thought spring all our outward conditions. The key, then, to success and happiness, is the conscious control of thought and a continuous radiation of constructive thinking and acting. This key will unlock the treasure house of the Infinite and reveal to us undreamed-of opportunities and experiences.”

Over the past few days we’ve had the opportunity to look at some of those vibrations we are radiating into the universal mental law. Anything we’ve been thinking about lack or limitation is having an effect on our financial lives.

Today, allow a part of your mind to be your witness – ask it to gently and humoursly remind you when you’re mentally heading in the wrong direction. Change your thoughts and move into the conscious radiation of constructive thinking. Picture yourself living the financial life you desire. Feel the pleasure this bring you. Ahhhh, that’s good!

Round 5, Day 5

Thomas Troward writes in Dore Lectures:

“My mind is a center of Divine operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression, and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in past experience, though proceeding out of it in orderly sequence of growth. Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner in me, so consequently in my own special world, of which I am the center, it moves forward now to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before.”

Today’s affirmation:

I trust everything comes at the perfect time and in the perfect way.

Round 5, Day 4

I like to suggest that you get a journal, or set up a file on your computer, called TGWR. Many people tell me they are uncomfortable with journaling, yet journaling is just writing stuff down. How hard is that?

It’s important to acknowledge our thoughts and feelings as we walk this Prosperity Path.

Go back to day 1 and write down your intention. Write about your love letters from the universe as you receive them. Every day write at least 5 things you are grateful for.

A journal is a good place to maintain your focus. Focus keeps us on point with our intention and prevents mesmerization by lack thinking.

An affirmation to write about today:

I trust my ever-increasing ability to create abundance.

What are the first thoughts that come up when you read this affirmation?
How do you feel about Trust?

As you write, I know you will become more clear as to beliefs needing to be changed. Clarity brings serenity.

Round 5, Day 2

Have you noticed that when you set an intention, all sorts of things show up to support you in that intention?

I call them Love Letters from the Universe. In these Love Letters are choices.

For instance – My intention this Round is to be debt-free. I have a credit card I’ve been paying off, oh so very slowly. It seems like all I am doing is paying the interest charges!! It is my intention to manifest the money to pay it off during this Round.

In today’s mail I got an invitation for another credit card – and one of their selling points is that I could pay off another card using this new one. After reading the fine print, I decided against it, yet, I gratefully acknowledge this letter as a possibility presented to me to support my intention. This Love Letter helped me become even more clear as to what I mean by being debt-free.

Your assignment today – and for life – is to become aware and acknowledge your Love Letters from the Universe.

Round 5, Day 1

Here we go – another 60 days to expand our prosperity consciousness. Do you know that by choosing to participate, you are elevating the consciousness of humanity?

From what we see in the media, it seems the collective consciousness has a virus – we could call it "lack flu" – so I ask you to consider these e-mails your flu medications!!

What I know, regardless of appearances, is that what we've seen and heard is not our Truth. Yes, you read me right – even if you have been affected by what's going on – the idea that there is not enough is NOT YOUR TRUTH.

We live in an abundant universe – and it is the nature of the Universe to give. Many have become so mesmerized by fear they have shut down their ability to give and receive. We are going to open ourselves up and prove once and for all that it's all about consciousness. And we're going to let our consciousness evolve, so that all problems dissolve.

And how grateful I am we can do this!

When I announced I was starting Round 5 of our Thank God We're Rich Campaign, I got an e-mail from Jeff:

We have come to the end of this Round. I'm knowing for each of us that our prosperity consciousness has expanded, and our experience of the Divine has deepened.

Let's Treat:

The Source of all there is and ever has been or ever will be, is everywhere. It is all around us, supporting us. It is within us, nurturing us. It is our Life.

I am so grateful to have a greater understanding of the givingness of The Universe and my ability to receive. I continue to open my mind, my heart and my arms to my good. I know it never ends. I am consciously open to receive all of Life's riches.

I know this not only for myself, but for all participants in TGWR that walked this Round with me. I am grateful for the partnership, and the participation. I know that by our changing our consciousness, we are erasing lack and lifting up humanity, and this is good, very good.

I continue to see the benefits of this Round even though it is over. Money flows to me from every possible, positive avenue because I am ready and willing to receive. I share my good with joy. I spread wealth consciousness everywhere I go. Every area of my life is enriched, and I am blessed.

Day 56

This morning I did an open-eyed mediation .... I sat at the living room window and looked outside. I live on a hill and have a view of a bridge over a river, snow capped mountains, trees and buildings. I saw the abundance of cars going over the bridge. The abundance of snow on the mountains. The abundance of logs in the river. In my own yard, I saw the abundance of new leaves appearing on the trees and bushes. I saw and heard an abundance of little birds.

As I contemplated the abundance of my personal Universe, I felt a wave of gratitude come over me. I am so grateful to be alive and have the life I have!

Spend some time today contemplating the abundance of the Universe around you!! And be grateful!!

Day 55

Let's focus on gratitude for the 5 days left in this Round. Whether you prospered in the way you intended at the beginning of this Round or not, we always have so much to be thankful for.

When we focus on the Good in our lives, it's like fertilizing the garden of our intentions. Our seed thoughts of opportunities, love, money, greater health, creativity, grow better, stronger and faster when we're grateful!!

Imagine yourself standing at a great ocean of prosperity.
You can have all you want to take.
What sort of vessel did you bring with you?
If you're not satisfied with what you first imagined.... change it!!

Dr. Erik Butterworth writes in Spiritual Economics:

This is true not only in our financial life, but in all other areas as well. What are you expecting?

Day 53

"The Law of Mind is humanity's access to the Original Creative Genius of the Universe, and has no intention for us other then the intention that we give It."

Today's a day to live in Present Time, in total appreciation of who YOU are!

Stop waiting for your good to just happen to you.  Supply the Law of Mind with your clear idea of what you desire to happen.  Think about that idea, what it looks like and know there is all the Power in the Universe working as you to make it happen.  Release that idea to the Law.  It is ready and willing to make something good out of your idea, specifically for you.

How can I state it any better than this??  We have 9 more days of this round.  How have you done with the intention you set up at the beginning?  If you're thinking "not so well" then perhaps it's time to look at it again and get serious!

A journal exercise for today:  Write your intention again, and refine it to one sentence, beginning with "I am ...."  or "I have ...."

Now list your excuses as to why that isn't so right this minute.  You will begin to see where you have argued for your limitations.  Change those excuses to affirmations!

When the "I can" consciousness replaces the "I can't" consciousness -- you can and you will!

Day 49

Are you going to work just so you can have a paycheque?  Or are you going to work to serve?

I believe that if we do our work with an attitude of serving others, prosperity will flow to us unimpeded.  If you are happy with your work, you know what I mean.  If not, ask yourself "How can I make this an act of service?"

When I was studying for the ministry, I was working for an accountant.  Day after day of posting numbers, especially during tax time.  When I finally asked myself this question, I came up with "My work in the world for this moment is to help people keep their finances in order."  This made the job much easier.

How do you serve our world?

Day 48

There is nothing that can stop us from being prosperous if we are ready. People talk of "golden opportunities" as if they come from outside of us, but the Truth is, those opportunities showed up because people had the consciousness for them.

Create the consciousness, make your demands upon the Law and the "golden opportunities" will appear.

Day 47

While watching Oprah's BIG GIVE tonight, I thought WOW!  This is the kind of reality show I like!  It reminds us that we can always do something wonderful for others.

That made me think of a greeting card I once had, that read:

"The best exercise for the heart is reaching down and helping someone up."

Get some exercise today -- go out and do something wonderful for someone!

Day 46

It is part of our nature to desire good things.  We desire to experience more of life, more love, more health, more creativity and yes, more wealth.  Contrary to many old faith traditions, there is nothing wrong with desire!

We might ask ourselves, how can I have more when so many have so little?  If we look outside we will see that the Law of Nature isn't limited in any way.  Ask any gardener who is pulling weeds!!

If the Law of Nature is limitless, it seems we are limiting ourselves through the Law of Mind.  A good journalling exercise would be to contemplate where in our lives we have done this.  Begin to realize the Law is always available, always at our bidding.

Let's let Life reflect our consciousness of prosperity!

Day 45

"Again I remind you to live a life and not just talk about it.  There is far too much talk and not enough action in the world today, which is why the world is in the state it is in.  You are the ones to live that  life, to put into action what I am telling you.  You have to do the work; no one else can do it for you.  You can be given a plate of food but only you can eat it if you are to be nourished by it.  You can be told about spiritual truths but only as you live them, put them into practice in your lives and demonstrate them, do they become reality to you and live and move and have their being in you.  You must stand on your own feet and do your own work, your own thinking, and do your own living."    -- Eileen Cady, co-founder of Findhorn

SO -- go back and look at the first pages of your journal, where you declared what you wanted out of this round of Thank God We're Rich.  How are you doing?  Are you putting these Principles in action ... or just reading and deleting them?

I'm inviting all of us to check in with our consciousness -- and if need be, renew our intentions!

Day 44

The other day I received a check for my washer and dryer from the new tenant, and in the hustle and bustle of moving, I lost it!

I found it very interesting to observe my thoughts and feelings -- over a piece of paper!

During the search I went from curiosity to panic to "oh well" ... and yes, I did find it.

How would you be in such a situation?  It's at these times that we really realize what we believe.

 

Day 42

Today I declare I am a Great Receiver!!

I choose what I want to receive.

I open my heart, my mind and my arms to the generosity of the Universe.

I declare that anything in my subjective mind that might have previously blocked my good is released.

And I receive -- graciously, willingly, gratefully.

Day 43

A simple and effective affirmation:

My income increases whether I am working, sleeping or playing.

Money is just a "part" of the picture --- that statement removes some of the energy around it for me and makes it a lot easier to manifest!!

Am I not as important as they?
I look at the lavish wastefulness of nature and know that God intended me to be as abundantly supplied with everything that makes for beauty, well-being, progressive living and happiness.

This quote came in on Bob Proctor's daily e-mail the other day ... and as I sat down to budget the extra expenses of moving I realized just how important this statement is. Our attitudes about money can control the flow into and out of our lives!

When you pay your bills are you doing it in an attitude of gratitude? Pay attention today as you open your purse or wallet, use your debit or credit cards. What is your attitude right at that moment? And if you find that you're uncomfortable with your attitude - change it!

How? Well, on the TV show Allie McBeal, one of the characters had been to a therapist who taught him "Smile Therapy." When he wanted to change how he was feeling, he was to consciously smile. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to do the same thing. Smile in gratefulness for all you have and all you are!

Here's a line I copied from a delightful little book "Acres of Diamonds" by Russell Conwell:

"I say you ought to be rich: you have no right to be poor. To live and not be rich is a misfortune and it is doubly a misfortune because you could have been rich just as well as being poor."

It reminds me of a cartoon I saw in the New Yorker magazine years ago .... two hobos are standing on the sidewalk watching a Rolls Royce drive by. One turns to the other and says "There but for me, go I."

And how true this is. Choose to be rich and then honour that choice by doing what is necessary to attain and maintain that consciousness. You have a right to be rich!!

Day 36

Reflections on Prosperity and Money

I love the greeting given in 3 John 1 by Paul to his friend, Gaius, and those living in the Province of Asia -- "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

How wonderful to consider that our soul prospers. When we realize we are created to prosper, this is the magnet to our good. Our soul is the eternal vehicle of Spirit and Spirit is ever willing to provide abundantly. When our first love is God/Spirit we are sustained and fulfilled abundantly.

Let's understand ... money is intended to be God in action, circulating, blessing, increasing, enriching. When I work from my soul prospering I shall be led rightly in my use of money at all times. Money will never be my first love, God alone is, but that I am intended to prosper should never be in question.

I got a complaint yesterday about our focus on money, which made me laugh, since this is intentionally a campaign about money! So let's get real here -- The world we live in is obsessed with money. We're told having it will make us happy, and not having it will make us depressed. It's the perfect vehicle to examine who's beliefs we are living with!!

I think money and how we respond to it, is a symbol of how we work with the energy moving through our lives. The late Dr. Raymond Charles Barker wrote that money is a symbol of the action of God in our lives. We all want more! Realizing we can attract money with almost no effort at all can lead us to an understanding that anything is possible - including the soul-satisfying relationship with the Divine we're all yearning for!

Day 34

I've heard about the results of our butterfly experiment from a few of you - how delightful! I know this has helped you realize that what you focus on, you attract.

So - because this is a prosperity campaign - today let's focus on found money. "Found money" is money found in coat pockets, on the street, in the couch, the glove compartment of your car, whereever ... the idea is to focus on "finding money" for the next 24 hours.

Again, let me remind you, what you focus on, you attract!! Pay attention!!

Day 33

A good day to pray. Read this Spiritual Mind Treatment with as much feeling and belief as you can as many times as you desire:

There is one infinite Source of all substance. It is not only the Source but the substance itself. It fills every atom of the universe because It is the Universe. From this Source continually flows our good. There is no way we can stop It.

I know now that I can limit my experience of It by my thoughts and feelings, but I can not stop It. So I quit trying to. I now declare that all that is within my subjective mind blocking my good is now erased. I breathe deeply with a great sense of relief. I have let go of limitation.

Now I experience my Self more fully. I experience the Good of this world with ease. I am open to the abundance of the Universe in all ways. I see It show up not only in my financial life, but in my health, my relationships and the way I work.

I celebrate my renewed consciousness of prosperity. I feel it and I see it everywhere! Life is good! Life is abundant!

With a grateful heart, I release these words into the Law of Mind, knowing they are already an established Truth in my consciousness. Thank God We're Rich! And so It is.

Day 32

I've been clearing a lot of clutter with some help from friends ... and what a freeing feeling it is!

I've chosen to use this experience as a symbol of clearing any clutter that has been blocking my prosperity consciousness.

I invite you to try it! Clean a drawer, a closet, a room, the car, your desk ... and let go of anything that is no longer serving you! You'll be amazed at the results!!

Day 31

Let's be "scientists" ...

I would like you to have an example of how powerful you are. When you finish reading this, I'd like you to sit still for at least 3 minutes and focus on butterflies. Contemplate their beauty, and what they mean to you. Then set an intention that you will notice butterflies this weekend. They might not necessarily be live ones and they may show up in unusual places, so have fun!

This experiment is to prove the concept "What you focus on, you attract."

Day 30

We've reached the half way point for this round! Give yourself a big hug! Whether you realize it or not, your consciousness is changing for your highest good and greatest joy.

Spend some time thinking, and perhaps journalizing, about the wonderfully abundant Universe you live in. Why? Because we are as rich as the openness of our hearts to receive that which Spirit is always giving.

What a great way to love yourself today!!

Day 29

A meditation:

Get by yourself for a few minutes every day. Release your worries, relax your body and quietly invite the rich substance of the universe to flow into your mind, body and affairs. State that this rich universal substance is providing you with whatever you need for your growth and expansion. It might be health, guidance, specific ideas or information, a job, more money, peace of mind, more leisure and time for reflection, or more harmonious relationships.

'Do not try to force this Power to do anything for you. To try to compel it only repels it. Be relaxed, receptive, open minded, humble. Do not get impatient, but practice this simple asking and inviting method daily. Something wonderful will happen, if you persevere!'

The Divine Spirit prospers me in every possible way. I praise the wealth of God. I now claim it for my own. My money is God's money.

I know its spiritual origins. I rejoice in all the good things I can do with it. It circulates in all my affairs. It pays all my debts and gives me freedom of action. I live in the space of thankfulness - and I have been rewarded a million times over for it. I started out giving thanks for small things,
and the more thankful I became, the more my bounty increased.

That's because what you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it. Opportunities, relationships, even money flowed my way when I learned to be grateful no matter what happened in my life.

"Say thank you!" Those words from my friend and mentor Maya Angelou turned my life around. One day about ten years ago, I was sitting in my bathroom with the door closed and the toilet lid down, booing and ahooing on the phone so uncontrollably that I was incoherent.

"Stop it! Stop it right now and say thank you!" Maya chided. "But You don't understand," I sobbed.

To this day, I can't remember what it was that had me so far gone, which only proves the point Maya was trying to make. "I do understand," she told me. "I want to hear you say it now. Out loud.

'Thank you.'" Tentatively, I repeated it: "Thank you - but what am I saying thank you for?"

"You're saying thank you," Maya said, "because your faith is so strong that you don't doubt that whatever the problem, you'll get through it. You're saying thank you because you know that even in the eye of the storm, God has put a rainbow in the clouds.
You're saying thank you because you know there's no problem created that can compare to the Creator of all things. Say thank you!"

TODAY IS A DAY FOR GRATITUDE.

Day 22

If you're like me, since the beginning of the year, you've probably been inundated with phone calls and letters in the mail offering you new credit cards. Some of the offers are so seductive. Yet, getting another credit card is not an answer to a prosperity treatment - it's creating more debt! Suzee Orman, in her book 9 Steps to Financial Freedom, writes that when we use our credit cards and only pay the minimums due, we pay much more than the actual price of the items we've bought!

Part of a prosperity consciousness is being a good steward of what we have now. Part of being a good steward is knowing what your debts and income are. Today, let yourself be honest as you review your current financial picture. Then journal on how you feel. Next, spend time being grateful for the credit you have (or even don't have) and bless all your debts, knowing they will soon be paid in full!

Day 21

Ever notice how easily "stuff" accumulates? Perhaps today is a good day to clean a drawer or closet.
The renowned prosperity teacher, Catherine Ponder, wrote in Dynamic Laws of Prosperity:

"Basically, the vacuum law of prosperity is this:

if you want greater good, greater prosperity in your life, start forming a vacuum to receive it!

In other words, get rid of what you DON'T want, to make room for what you DO want."

This is a good Principle for beliefs that no longer serve us as well.

Day 18

Today would be a great day to give away some money!!

Now if you read that sentence and thought "Whoa, wait a minute ... I doing this program to get more money, not give it away!" then this day is especially for you!

Here's a story:
A gold miner was hopelessly lost in the desert, he had run out water days ago, and the temperature was over 100 degrees. He was about to give up when he stumbled across what appeared to be an old abandoned water pump. He pumped it like crazy but no water came out. At the base of the pump, he discovered a tiny bottle of water, and under it he finds a note that read.

"I repaired this ole' pump, so it'll work if you try. Just take that little bottle of water and pour it down the well. It'll wet the leather washer and seal the pump. Then you'll get all the water you want."

When we remember that the Law of Circulation is a circle ... then the idea of priming the pump becomes a great idea. Let me caution you however. You must give the money away with no judgments attached.

For instance, if you decide you're going to give something to that guy that's always sitting on the corner with his dog and his hand out, don't be thinking about how he should get a job, or that he's just going to use it to buy liquor or drugs, or any of the other things we think as we quickly walk by averting our heads.

Give just because you can. Give with an attitude of gratitude.
And Thank God We're Rich.
